Amy Dugdale-Wilde | Director & Spanish Tutor
Wilde Spanish has evolved from my love and passion for the Spanish language and culture. I am an experienced and qualified Spanish tutor with 4 years teaching experience within the Spanish education system in the Madrid area as well as Spanish tutoring experience in the UK since 2016. I have a BA Honours degree in Contemporary Spanish Studies and Social Sciences enhanced by having lived in Spain. Therefore, as well as bringing my language skills, knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary but I also bring the culture of Spain to my Spanish classes. Each student has their own learning style and objectives so I ensure each class is tailored and personalised in order to achieve the best learning outcome. My approach to teaching Spanish is to guide each student at their own pace and capabilities to a competent level. I am creative and enthusiastic which is reflected in my classes. I mostly enjoy teaching GCSE and A-Level students but I embrace anyone who wants to improve their Spanish.
My aim is to open doors for people through learning a new language and providing them with fun lessons that instil a passion for the Spanish language and culture. Being able to converse in another language with natives is a gift which not only opens peoples’ minds but opens them up to a whole world of opportunities. I understand the complexities of grasping a foreign language so my aim is to create an enjoyable way to not only learn the Spanish language but learn about its culture too.
I offer one-to-one or group tuition to all levels and ages in which each class is filled to the brim with tailored, quality and authentic ways to learn and fall in love with the Spanish language.

Clare Corcoran | Spanish & ESL/EFL Tutor
Whilst studying a Modern Languages degree in French and Spanish I moved to Madrid in 2010 for 9 months to further improve my language skills and experience the Spanish education system by working in a school in the city. Those 9 months have now turned into 11 years, and after teaching in various schools and educational settings with students of all ages in Madrid, I have recently moved to San Sebastián in the Basque Country. Living in Spain has allowed me to experience a culture different to my own and adds an extra facet to my classes which not only focus on the language but also the culture of the country. Classes are personalised and adapted to each student´s preferred way of learning.
I have over 14 years experience working in educational settings both in the UK and in Spain. For the last 11 eleven years I have been working with students of all ages, from nursery children to adults, in schools, workplaces and homes. As well as completing my teaching degree at a Spanish university in 2017, I have attended various training sessions focused on language teaching.
As a language learner myself I understand the difficulties that are faced. I also believe that foreign languages open up a completely new world to the student, one which makes the struggles of language learning absolutely worth it. My aim is to make languages more accessible to those who want to experience a new culture and way of communicating.

Sioned Petrie | KS3 & KS4 Spanish, French & Italian Tutor
I studied European Languages: French and Italian with Spanish at Aberystwyth University - I was won over by the beautiful sea views! During my year abroad I lived in Valencia with a local family while studying Spanish at a language school; worked as an au pair in Reggio-Emilia, Italy; and I taught English to primary school students in Le Puy-en-Velay, France.
On returning home I decided I wanted to become a languages teacher, so I tutored local secondary students to help them to pass their GCSE English literature exams for some extra teaching experience. I then moved back home and studied for my PGCE Secondary: French with Spanish and taught French and Spanish at two local secondary schools.
I now have 8 years' experience of teaching French, Spanish and occasionally Italian, and have worked at three different schools in Cheshire and Liverpool. I've taught primary pupils all the way up to A level students and have studied for a Masters in Psychology for the last two years, focussing on how to support pupils with learning difficulties.
I understand that language learning can be hard at times, and that sometimes students feel they've plateaued. I'm passionate about helping pupils to get over difficulties and showing them they can feel successful when learning a language.

Alma Billington | Adult and Kids Spanish Tutor
¡Hola!
I’m originally from Mexico, native Spanish speaker, with 8 years experience working in a Primary School in Mexico.
I completed a Degree in International Business. Teaching has always been my passion that was the reason I studied a Master Degree in Basic Education.
I travelled abroad to study English as a second language in Dublin, Ireland for over a year. Now I’m living in the UK. I’ve worked in a Primary School in Crewe, Cheshire as a Spanish Tutor.
I am experienced in teaching children and adults, and I understand that everyone learns in a different way.
I believe that with every new language you learn, you will find new tools to make sense of the world around you.

Paddy McDevitt | KS2-KS5 Spanish & French tutor
My love for languages began back when I was in secondary school when I got the opportunity to take part in a Spanish exchange in Valladolid. Since then, I have gone on to study Spanish and French at A Level and then continuing my studies at JMU, Liverpool. During this course I got the opportunity to do the Erasmus program in Granada, studying translation and interpretation.
After completing my undergraduate degree, I decided to do a Masters in Translation at the University of Salford. After this degree, I got the hunger again to go back and live in Granada. I obtained a position in a financial company before making the decision to go into teaching. I wanted to do something with my experience with languages that would make a difference, and teaching was that. As such, I moved to Liverpool and enrolled at Hope University, later graduating with a PGCE.
Up to now, I have over 10 years experience of teaching secondary Spanish and French up to KS5 and KS4 respectively. I specialise in Spanish and I am extremely passionate about the language. I thoroughly enjoy being able to educate people of all ages equipping them with the skills in required to be confident in communicating in a foreign language. Whether this is for going abroad on a holiday or visiting family, or for preparing for a GCSE or A Level exam, I am invested in helping my students achieve their full potential by offering them personalised tuition and support, depending on their individual needs.
Despite being a teacher and educator, I continue to have the love for language learning and I am currently learning German, as well as Italian and Gaelic too. Using the various tools and platforms learning these languages helps me to keep up with the advances in language learning, so I can pass these on to current and future students. I thrive on educating people with the linguistic and cultural knowledge of a foreign language so they can feel confident communicating wherever their paths lead them.
